NOV 21- A DAY IN THE LIFE

 View this slide show to start  Project Criteria  Theme: Capture what a day in your life looks like.  Sequence: 15 photos, maybe arranged in chronological order, maybe not. Subjects: Mix of candid moments, routines, environment, and small details. Variety: Include wide shots, medium shots, and close-ups. Continuity: Maintain consistent style (lighting, color, or mood). Story: Each photo should contribute to the narrative of the day. Final Output: 15 curated, edited images presented as a cohesive series . NOV 13- STILL LIFE AS SELF PORTRAIT

  Still Life as Self-Portrait Project Overview View slide show here Create a still life photo series that represents you — your personality, interests, and identity — using objects instead of a traditional portrait. The objects you choose should tell your story through symbolism and composition. Requirements Include at leas t 5 symbolic items in your still life that represent different parts of who you are. Choose items that are meaningful and intentional. It is strongly recommended to use the SLR cameras.  Submit 6–8 final photos that show variety and experimentation. Some photos might be taken in the home, arranged outside, or arranged at school using backdrops, materials, and lighting to enhance the still life. The compositions should show variety in arrangement (stacked, scattered, grouped, etc.) Camera angles (bird’s eye, close-up, worms view, etc) Lighting or color (use light, shadow, or color to set mood) Think about balance (symmetry/asymmetry, space, visual weight) ...

Please fill out the self assessment below. Please BE HONEST. If your comments and assessment of work habits do not reflect your work and in class behavior, I will not use your assessment as a guide. In the case, my assessment and comments might not be as flattering as yours, so write your comments truthfully and wisely.  Click on the self assessment and click  File> Download as Word Doc. to download the file onto your computer so you can edit it.  Read through the work habits rubric and HIGHLIGHT each bullet point that applies to you. This means for each category you are either GOOD, SATASFACTORY, or NEEDS IMPROVMENT.  Look at the rubric, where are the majority of your highlights?
